# Kanban board and network view

Agent status is in a collapsible left sidebar inside the Kanban board. Each
agent card shows its state, current/next task, and waiting dependency. Task and
dependency buttons still select the corresponding card. Long labels wrap; the
agent list scrolls independently from the board columns.

The graph's Auto Layout uses a deterministic, two-dimensional spring/repulsion
layout. Hierarchy, dependencies, blockers and associations pull linked tasks
together, while repulsion and label-footprint separation leave room between
nodes. Cycles, isolated nodes and missing links are supported. This is a settled
layout, not a continuously running physics simulation.

- Circles represent tasks; their colours indicate task status. Parents with more
  children have larger circles.
- Labels remain visible at overview zoom. Hover a node to highlight its links.
- Cyan lines show hierarchy, orange lines show dependencies, red lines show
blockers, and purple lines show associations. Directed relationships retain
  arrowheads.
- Drag nodes to arrange them manually, drag empty space to pan, and scroll to
zoom. Double-click a task to open details.
- Auto Layout recalculates the network and fits it to the panel. Fit changes
only the viewport. Relationship toggles control which lines are shown.

The layout policy updates once from the old layered layout. Subsequent refreshes
preserve complete manual layouts until topology changes or Auto Layout is
requested. Status-only changes do not rearrange the graph. Position reconciliation
does not rerun the force solver on every repaint.

These are view changes; layout does not modify task dependencies or execution
order and does not enable the scheduler.
